Privacy Policy

This policy explains how LinkYield’s operator (“LinkYield,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you visit getlinkyield.com, create an account, use a tracked link or contact us.

Information we collect

Account information includes your name, email address, encrypted password credentials, verification status and, if you choose Google sign-in, your Google account identifier. Workspace content includes link names, destination URLs, conversion records, commission values and notes. Billing records include PayPal customer, plan, subscription and payment-status identifiers; PayPal handles card and bank credentials.

When someone opens a LinkYield tracking link, we record the time, approximate country supplied by our infrastructure provider, device category, referring hostname and whether the request appears automated. We use a network address transiently for security and rate limiting and store only a one-way hash for authentication-attempt records.

Why we use information

We use this information to perform our contract with customers by providing accounts, redirects, analytics and billing; for legitimate interests such as securing, troubleshooting and improving the service; to comply with law; and, where required, with consent. We do not sell personal information or use tracking-link data for unrelated targeted advertising.

Providers and disclosures

We disclose information as needed to service providers that host or support LinkYield, including Cloudflare for infrastructure and data storage, PayPal for billing, Google for optional sign-in, and Resend for transactional account email. These providers process data under their own terms and may process it in countries other than yours. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect users and the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

Account and workspace records are generally kept while your account is active. Expired verification and reset records, authentication-attempt records and operational logs are kept only as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting. Billing records may be retained longer where tax, accounting or dispute rules require it. We use access controls, encrypted transport, salted and peppered password hashing, opaque sessions and one-time expiring recovery links, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or obtain a copy of personal information, and to complain to a local data-protection authority. You may cancel PayPal billing in PayPal and disconnect Google access in your Google Account. Send requests to privacy@getlinkyield.com; we may need to verify your identity.

Children

LinkYield is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their country. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
